Out In The World : Domestic Flights

Out in the World: Domestic flights" is an archive of narratives, facts, researched information, personal and family history relating to the objects in my flat. In some ways the project refers to "Life a Users Manual" (Georges Perec) in that through my objects, the stuff in the flat, I seek to explore the space between me and the rest of the world. The relationships between my stuff, its history, fabrication and existential life.
The interface for exploring these narratives is a 3d, virtual, architectural model which viewers can move around (screen snatches pictured above). Domestic Flights is currently on tour in "Comfort Zones" (originated by Oriel Davies). Installations shots shown above.
